Hello everyone this is our last day in Kiev. We started the day @ 5am. We waited an hour until the cafe opened up then went and trie to order a regular cup of coffee. Ha Good Luck! We talked to London and Heidi's Dad Jae. Today is London's Birthday the baby girl is twelve. Happy birthday Sweetie!
So Last night Jackie and I decided to go on a walk that ended up being 5 miles long and for a moment we got lost, not being able to read any of the street signs does not help but eventually we found a farm market ad our way back to the apartment(Jackie is a machine I had a hard time keeping up with her long legs). I must say that if the run down places in Kiev were restroed it would be an amazing city. So much Character and tradition.
Today we went back to the SDA to get a refferal to go to Zaporishia and see Juvinille services to start the paperwork for the Courts.
We were there at 4pm but we did not get the referal until 5:30p because the Cheif was busy. There is only one person for each job in Ukraine. They have not impleimented the idea of cross-training! After we got our refferal it was amad dash to get our luggage from the apartment and to get to the train station. We are currently sitting in Mcdonalds by the train station with Victor. The fries taste just as good but beware NO DIET COKE! This is the first time in years that I have had a regular coke. The Mcdonalds is crazy the line is always ten people deep, Oh I should not call it a line it is more like a ass of Cattle, everyone piles in and pushes their way up to the counter 14 registers this place must make a killing.
On a Heidi update she is beautiful and really keeping up like a champ. The amount of traveling thus far and walking is difficult especially when you are pregnant. The heat makes the walking and pregnancy even more enjoyable(Not!) All in all she is a champ even after she found out what the next 24 hours will be like.
